Wilson Kayne Prunty was married to Bower Virginia Felton on 11 Oct 1875 in Pruntytown, WV. They had one son Faud (Frank) and three daughters, Donna, Exrissie and Otia. About 1905, they moved to San Diego, CA with their son and two daughters, Exrissie (Rissie) and Otia. Their son Faud joined the Navy and he was stationed in Tucson. Eventually, Kay and Bower moved to Tucson and lived with him. Kay died there. His wife Bower was buried in Kings County, WA state when Faud was stationed there for a short time.

In his Will, he owned 376 acres on the South Hughes River in Ritchie County, WV. After he died, his son Faud sold the property in 1931. He was supposed to divide the proceeds with his three sisters, but he kept all of it.

[My grandmother, his wife, named one of her sons "Alden K" and we always wondered why the middle initial of "K" without a period. I think she named him after her father's nickname."
