Mrs. F. C. Raemisch, 77, died at her home here Saturday afternoon after a long illness.
Mrs. Raemisch was born March 2, 1882, in the town of Dane and has made her home in the Waunakee area all her life. Her husband, F. C. Raemisch, prominent road contractor, passed away on January 15, 1959. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. John's Catholic church and a member of St. Odelia Court 816, Womens Catholic Order of Foresters of Waunakee.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Charles Schoepp, Waunakee; Miss Helenda Raemisch, at home; Mrs. George Roudebush, Waunakee; Mrs. Donald Wittenburg, Middleton; one son, Gerald Raemisch, Waunakee; four sisters, Mrs. Barbara Goddertz, Madison; Mrs. M. H. Kopp, Madison; Mrs. Gertrude Hauser and Mrs. William Chambers, Waunakee; one brother, Nick Miller, Waunakee; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9:30 at the Schwab funeral home and at 10 a. m. in St. John's Catholic Church. A solemn requiem high mass was sung by the Rev. Raymond H. Ziegler, the Rev. Michael J. Jacobs acted as deacon and the Rev. Alfred Kunz was sub-deacon. Honorary pallbearers were Mrs. Joseph W. Endres, Mrs. Lena Karls, Mrs. Fred Fisher, Mrs. Alfred Roessler, Mrs. Anton Fries and Mrs. Joseph Kopp. Active pallbearers were Earl Cooper, Theodore Hilgers, Kenneth Kopp, Greg Goddertz, Carl Raemisch and Herman Miller. The rosary was recited Monday evening at 8 p.m. by the Christian Mothers at the funeral home.
