Nicholas F. Hauser, 61, Dies at His Home at Lodi on Tuesday Nicholas F. (Nick) Hauser, 61, Lodi, an employee of the North Western road, who had been a section fore man in this area for the past 12 years, died early Tuesday at his home after several months illness. He was a veteran of World War 1, and was a member of William Lansing Post No. 360 of the American Legion at Waunakee. He was also a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Lodi and its Holy Name Society, and of Black Hawk Council of the Knights of Columbus at Sauk City. Survivors include his wife, Elsie, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Lester Schneider, New Holstein, and Mrs. Robert Purcell, Oregon; his mother, Mrs. Michael Hauser, a sister, Elisa beth Hauser, and a brother, John Hauser, all of Waunakee, and eight grandchildren. Friends may call at the Hamre fun eral home, Lodi, where the rosary will be recited Thursday night at 8:30 o'clock. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30 a. m. in the funeral home and at 10 in St. Patrick's Church, Lodi. The Rev. Mark J. Mueller will officiate and burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Waunakee, with the Waunakee Legion Post conducting military graveside rites.
