Daughter of Adam and Fanny (Smith) Rodel, Catherine Krahn was a teacher for many years and was named Wisconsin's Rural Teacher of the Year in 1966. She was active in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 4-H and other civic activities. Mrs. Krahn's enjoyment came from her family, teaching and her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester Krahn; daughter, Helen; and grandson, Gregory.
