Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. T. F. Uetzmann will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Schnell was born March 13, 1900, in the Town of Liberty, son of Ernst and Minnie Hacker Schnell. He married Emma Vogt at Manitowoc Dec. 22, 1923. and had worked for Manitowoc County and Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., until 13 years ago when ill health forced his retirement.
Survivors are his wife, two sons, Edward, of Manitowoc and LeRoy of Rt. 1, Newton, a sister, Mrs. Clara Brick, of Eagle River and five grandchildren. A sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 4 p.m. Thursday until noon Friday when the casket will be removed to the church where the body will lie in state until time of services.
