John G. Brown was born October 22, 1902 at Steelville, Missouri, a son of the late John Richard Brown and Susan Angie (Halbert) Brown and passed away July 3, 1990 in St Luke's West Hospital, Chesterfield, Missouri at the age of 87 years, 8 months and 11 days.
On Sep 3, 1933 at Waterloo, Monroe, Illinois John was united in marriage to Neva Viola Wilkinson. Three daughters were born of this union.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jeff Brown and five sisters, Estella Slovenski, Bess Slovenski, Josephine Woods, Fannie Blanton, and Elsie Woods.
A mounted Honor Guard provided by the Ozark Trail Blazers accompanied the procession to the gravesite.
