Captain Allison was a former flight leader with the 116th air national guard fighter-interceptor squadron at Geiger field. He accompanied the 116th to England about two years ago. He elected to remain in England when the squadron returned to the United States and was serving with the 78th fighter squadron at the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife, Erna L.; his mother, Mrs. W. E. Godsey; a sister, Mrs. Carlene Mann, and two brothers. Robert E. and Ralph D. Allison, all et Spokane, and his father, George E. Allison of Yuma, Ariz.
