DANIEL, Shelton Drew, age 75, of Blackstone, Va., died July 17, 2011. He was a member of the Virginia Army National Guard for 37 years and retired Chief Warrant Officer 4 from MATES, Fort Pickett. He was a well-known country music singer and musician in Southside, Va. He was preceded in death by a son, Drew "Stevie D" Stevens Daniel.
