Paul F. Aberts, Jr., 79, of Downingtown, formerly of Exton, passed away on July 30, 2011. Born in Downingtown on March 29, 1932, he was the son of the late Paul F., Sr. and Alice (nee Simcox) Aberts.
Paul was a United States veteran serving in the Army. He was a self employed businessman who owned COA Pallets Inc. in Downingtown. Paul enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Surviving is his children Paul F. Aberts, III of Manassas, Va., Larry Aberts of West Chester, Marie Ellen Brehm of Parkesburg, Mary Simmers of Geigertown, Beth Fusco of Downingtown, and Sarah Aberts of Downingtown, 16 grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren, his brother, William of Downingtown and sister, Mary Sunday of Jacksonville, Fla. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Ann (nee Evans) Aberts.
Relatives and friends are invited to Paul's Life Celebration from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, August 5 with his funeral service at 11 a.m. at Ralston & Bredickas of Downingtown, 107 W. Lancaster Ave. Entombment, Glenwood Memorial Gardens, 2321 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008.
