Verla RICHIE and Albert SOMMERS wed at Jackson.
Verla M. RICHIE, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Eb RICHIE of Big Sandy and Albert P. SOMMERS, son of Mrs. Mae SOMMERS, were united in marriage at Jackson, Saturday, September 29.
The ceremony was preformed at two o'clock at St. John's Episcopal church by the Reverend Wm Appel. The couple was attended by Mrs. Joe Murdock as matron of honor and John SOMMERS, brother of the groom was best man.
The bride was attired in alight blue suit with which she wore black accessories. Her corsage was fashioned of gardenias.
Following the ceremony, a wedding dinner was served at Moore's cafe to members of the wedding party and guest which included Mr. and Mrs. Otto JENSEN, Mrs. Floyd Bousman, Joe Murdock, and Mrs. Mae SOMMERS.
After a wedding trip to Black Hills and Yellowstone Park. Mr. and Mrs. SOMMERS will be at home at the SOMMERS ranch on Green River. [Image #1]. *anc.com09/19/2008
