OBITUARY.
Died, at her home near Hebron, Nov. 7, 1888, Amelia, beloved wife of Albert E. Gates, aged 36 years, and 11 months.
The deceased was widely known as one of the early settlers of Thayer county (sic), having with her husband, resided here since 1869. Her gentle manner and kindly disposition, together with unfaltering christian character, made her the center of an ever increasing circle of friends and relatives. She leaves a husband and three children to mourn her untimely death.
The bereaved family have the sympathy of all their neighbors and friends, who have rendered every assistance possible in their dire extremity.
The funeral services will be held at the christian chapel at 2 o'clock p.m., Friday.
