A memorial service for Philip David Covach of Sheridan will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Dallas Mennonite Bretheran Church.
Mr. Covach died in a motor vehicle crash in Polk County on May 12, 2004. He was 19.
He was born in Dallas on Jan. 18, 1985.
He enjoyed working on stereos to get them the loudest, but his favorite things were barbecuing and spending good times with his family and friends. He was very proud of his two children. Throughout his life, he was one to always have a smile on his face. He loved to have fun and got a good laugh out of playing a trick on someone. "Philip was a wonderful daddy, boyfriend, brother, son and friend," the family said.
Survivors include his two children, Taya Jaden Manago and Kaden David Covach; his father, Joseph David Covach of Sheridan; three sisters, Heather, Hannah and Sarah; and girlfriend, Melanie Cranfill.
