Services for James D. "Jake" Weber, 84, will be held at 1:30 p.m. today, at River Woods Funeral Chapel, 205 S. River Road (&@#189; mile north of Rand Road, Route 12), Des Plaines. Interment will be in Lake Zurich Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services today, at the funeral chapel. Born Aug. 7, 1920, in Amery, Wis., he died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, in Wauconda. Mr. Weber was an Army Air Corps flight engineer, and was a member of the Masons. He was the original owner of Weber Heating and Sheet Metal of Libertyville. Jake was the beloved husband of June (nee Wenzel); loving father of Jamie (Daniel) Weber, Peter (Ellen) Kaimakis and John (Cindy) Kaimakis; cherished grandfather of Peter Jr., John, Alexandria, A.J., Laura Ann, Nicholas, Jake and Dylan; dear brother of Donald (Corky) Weber and the late Bob (Mary A.) Weber; and fond uncle of Gretchen, Susie, Stephanie, Cathy, Beth and Jay. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S. Hager Ave., Barrington, IL 60010-4107.
