Mr. Grohman was united in marriage to Louise Engkle, when a young man; to them were born seven children, three having preceded the father in death, and is survived by his widow, three sons and one daughter, one son-in-law, two daughters-in-law, two grandsons and six granddaughters. The children are: George and Paul D. of Vergennes, and Ben and Mrs. Tena Perkins of St. Louis, Mo.
Mr. Grohman was a good neighbor and had many fast friends in the community where he had spent the past 35 years of his life. He had united with the Evangelical church of St. Louis several years ago, but later transferred his membership to the Evangelical church of Oraville, where it remained to the time of his death.
Funeral services were held from the family residence, Tuesday, January 7th, conducted by Rev. Repkert, pastor of the Lutheran church.
