Mrs. John (Mary Eva) Fink, 91, of RR l, Herrick, a former Pana resident, died Tuesday, Apr. 27, in St. Margaret's Hospital, Hammnond, Ind., where she had been a patient 10 days. She and Mr. Fink were visiting members of their family when she became ill.
Mrs. Fink was born Nov. 20, 1884, in Shelby County, a daughter of the late George Tilley and Sarah Jane Ivison Tilley. She was married first to Edward Morrison, who died Mar. 11, 1952. She later married John B. Fink, who survives.
Mrs. Fink was the eldest and longest member of the Zion Methodist Church, Tower Hill. She was also a member of the Herrick Chapter No. 863, Order of Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge No. 356, Tower Hill.
Besides her husband she leaves 7 daughters, Mrs. John (Maxine) Long of Camargo, Mrs. Lowell (Lourene) Johnston, Mrs. Richard (Bernadine) Tyler and Mrs. Leo (Phyllis) Michael, all of Hammond, Ind.; Mrs. Earl (Mary Edith) Hartlerode of East Chicago, Ind., Mrs. Frank (Glenda) Towell of Gulfport, Miss., and Mrs. Anthony (Rosemary) Sarno of Newark, N. J.; also 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A half-brother, James Tilley, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 1, at Stumpf's with the Rev. W. Louis Purce II officiating.
Burial will be in Tower Hill Cemetery.
