He married Lucy Isabella "Belle" Mitchell (1858-1902) on Feb.2, 1887 and they had 3 sons --William Nile Broyles, Charles Hill Broyles and Hosea Clyde Broyles. He married Adelia Terry, a widow with 3 daughters on April 5, 1906. The Terry daughters were Prietta C. Terry Smith, Willie Florence Terry Holloman., and Clara Sarah Terry Mitchell.
