Zarr Bennett died at Iola on Monday. He formerly lived here. He died in the hospital in Iola where he has been for some time. He was 96 and had been feeble many years.
His remains were taken to Garnett for funeral and interment in the Garnett cemetery beside his wife.
He leaves a daughter in New York, and three sons, F.S. , Lelsie and Zarr Bennett Jr.
