Mathew Eugene Raymond died June 23, at Memorial Hospital in Los Banos. He was 24.
Born February 8, 1979 in Redlands, Matt moved to Los Banos with his family in 1988 from Moreno Valley.
He attended local schools and graduated from Los Banos High School in 1997.
After graduation, he worked as a truck driver before beginning his career in crop care in 2001 with Ray McMurray Crop Health and Forte's Crop Care in 2003.
Matt loved life and spending time with his friends at barbecues and around the bonfire. His hobbies included off-roading, hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his dog, Buddy. He was a Green Bay Packers fan. He was also a member of the Boy Scout's Order of the Arrow.
Survivors include his parents, Dennis Eugene and Virginia Ann (Coder) Raymond of Los Banos; brother Aaron and sister Caitlin of Los Banos; grandmothers, Iva Sanders Johnson and Virginia Cooley Coder ; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather William R. Coder Jr..
A memorial service was held on Monday, June 30, at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel.
