Graveside services for Mrs. Edith Laverne Stroud, 72, will be at noon Friday , Jan 23, at the Luther cemetery, in Luther Oklahoma under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Harold Young will officiate. Visitation will be today, Jan 20, from 12:30 to 8 p.m. Mrs. Stroud died at 3:00 p.m. Monday in a Sulphur Nursing Home.
She was a native of Boone Co., AR, and had lived in the Lake Charles area since
1981. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Eula Christine Clement of Ragley, Mrs. Elmeda Brown of West Lake and Mrs. Orvetta Carpenter of El Paso, Tx., two brothers; Thomas Young of Weleetka, Ok. and Harold Young of Oklahoma City, Ok.; one sister of Mrs. Carmel Boydston of Edmond, Ok. ; 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.[The Dedmon Ancestors in FTM.FBC.FTW]
