OBITUARY
Orangeburg, Jan 23 [1918]- Mrs Sarah Ann Wannamaker Peers, widow of James C Peers, died at the home of her brother, Julius Wannamaker, in this city early Sunday morning. The funeral services were held from St Paul's Methodist Church this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, burial taking place at Sunnyside cemetery. Mrs Peers died suddenly, being ill only a short while. She was 73 years of age. She is survived by one son, James C Peers, this city, and one daughter, Mrs Arthur Whitten of Wollington, Mass. The brothers and sisters of Mrs Peers are: Julius Wannamaker of Orangeburg, Asbury N Wannamaker of Sumter, Mrs Lizzie Bull [Eliza Hayne Wannamaker Bull] of Cheraw, Mrs David Horger [Julia Rachel Wannamaker Horger], of Jamison, Mrs Buery Sineath [Frances Evelina Wannamaker Sineath] of Orangeburg; two grandchildren, Julius Ahrens, Jr of Akron, Ohio, and Miss Sarah Whitten of Wollaston, Mass.
