John C. Adams passed away July 17, 2011 at St. Ann Rehab and Nursing Center. Born July 30, 1930, he was the son of John R. and Ethel (Elder) Adams. He is survived by his wife Agnes, his daughter Helen Bouchard and her husband Rick, his son Stephen Adams and four grandchildren: Daniel, Aaron, Robert and Andrew. John is also survived by his brothers: Donald Adams, Richard Adams and Kenneth Adams, his sisters: Marie McKenna, Sr. Rita Adams and Mary Lou Adams, his aunt: Grace Bauer, his mother in law: Pearl Tufts, also many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers: Robert and Eugene.


John was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council No. 10992, Rochester Elks Lodge No. 1392 and American Legion Post 60.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 20 at 11:00 am at St. Peter Church, 88 Central Street, Farmington, NH with Fr. Daniel J. Sinibaldi, Pastor, as Celebrant, with a calling hour prior to the Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington. Interment will follow with military honors at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
