Bill was the son of Gustave Buchheit and his wife, Margaret Wray Schweiger. He was the husband of Marie Dollase. They spent most of their married life in a lovely cottage on Lake LaBelle in Oconomowoc, Wis. Bill kept boats and especially enjoyed taking his pontoon boat out. He enjoyed playing cards and had a collection of pipes. In his later years, He and his wife enjoyed winters at their home in Holmes Beach.
