Funeral services for Herbert Ernest Ahner, 41, of Gorham, will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Murphysboro.
The Rev. W. T. Janzow will officiate. Burial will be in Ft. Bluff Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Crawshaw Mortuary Chapel in Murphysboro until 11 a.m. Wednesday, when the body will be removed to the church. The casket will remain open until the start of services.
Ahner was killed instantly Sunday night when his car collided with a large truck on Rt. 3, north the Rt. 3-144 intersection.
An inquest is set Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Jackson County courthouse.
