Lois J. (Grove) Reed (photo) Mrs. Lois J. (Grove) Reed, 52, 514 Bell Ave., died Wednesday morning, August 25, 1999, at home, following an extended illness. She was born October 10, 1946, in Altoona, the daughter of Edgar D. and Sylvia (McGinnis) Grove. Mrs. Reed was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, Hollidaysburg, where she was a member of the senior homemaking group. She had been employed at Saf-T-Bak and in the home health-care field for 10 years. Mrs. Reed was a graduate of Altoona High School. She enjoyed crafts, reading and country music of the 1950s. Surviving are her three daughters: Beverly Port of Altoona, Rose Butterbaugh of Ellabell, GA, and Tricia of Greensburg; a son, David Port Jr. of Altoona; three sisters: Barbara Snyder of Altoona, Gloria Durham of Six Mile, SC, and Charletta Farmer of Wellington, Ohio; a brother, James McGinnis of Altoona; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Port. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park. REED _ Funeral services for Lois J.
