William Hinson, LDS ID L22J-MPS, was the son of Elizabeth Lowe and Lazarus Hinson.

William was born July 5, 1816; died April 3, 1889; buried at St. Matthews German Reformed Church Cemetery, Lincoln County, North Carolina.

He married about 1844 Sarah "Sallie" Finger, MYZR-BVD, daughter of Catharine Summerrow and Daniel Finger.

Sallie was born in Lincoln County, North Carolina, November 21, 1820; died November 3, 1902; buried at St. Matthews German Reformed Church Cemetery, Lincoln County, North Carolina.

William was a shoemaker. They lived near St. Matthews.
