She was born July 17, 1931, in Ritchie County, WV, a daughter of the late Henry Carl Watson and Ruby (Zinn) Watson Lawless. She was reared by William and Mary Zinn.
She was the librarian in Ritchie county for many years and was instrumental in establishing the Pennsboro Branch of the Ritchie County Library. She was also an active Cub Scout den leader for 10 years and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross for 18 years during the Korean War era.
Surviving are two children, David M. (Cindy) Summers and Scott W. Summers, and three grandchildren, Matthew, Jenna and Aaron Summers, all of Harrisville.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, John S. Curry; and a brother, Lewis Watson.
Services were held Tuesday, July 26th, at Raiguel funeral Home, Harrisville, with Pastor John Frum officiating. Interment followed at Harrisville I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
