NORFOLK - Darlene "Lil Link" Corprew, 53, of the 900 block of Avenue F, died April 10, 2010 in Norfolk. She was a native of Norfolk County. She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Corprew Sr.; two special daughters, Rakiya Slight and Nicole Frost; two sons, Robert L. Corprew Jr. (Monica) and David Corprew; two sisters, Wilhenimia Frost of Portsmouth and Arntte Slight of Smithfield; four brothers, Steve Frost, Darry Frost, James Frost and Melvin all of Chesapeake; mother-in-law, Annie Corprew of Chesapeake; three grandchildren, Tatyana, Mackenzie and Robert Corprew III, all of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral will be held Saturday, April 17, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church Gilmerton. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A wake will be held today from 7 to 8 p.m. Corprew Funeral Home is in charge.
