He was born on Dec. 4, 1932 to Lawrence and Etta Mae (Singleton) Mashburn in Redbird.
Donal served in the United States Army for three years and was a WWII veteran.
He married Clara Mae (Perry) Mashburn and they have shared over 29 wonderful years.
Donal was a Meat Market Manager for Don Spoon at the Red Bud Plaza in Tulsa at 11th and Garnett.
He was member of the American Legion Post No. 308 in Tulsa, since the late 1970’s.
He enjoyed fishing at the Eufaula Lake.
Donal was a very generous person who would help anyone.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lawrence and Etta Mae; brothers, Dale and Joe Mashburn, and Janell Mashburn, and granddaughter Jennifer Pack.
Donal is survived by his loving wife, Clara Mashburn, of the home in Inola; four sons, Ricky Mashburn, of Coweta, David Mashburn, of Broken Arrow, and Wayne Mashburn, of Tulsa, and Jeremey Paul Hooper and wife, Kerry, of Pine Hurst, N.C.; three daughters, Christine Keith and husband, Harry, of Chandler, Dona Abel and husband, George, of Muskogee, and Debra Mashburn, of Tulsa; two sisters, Kathy and Carolyn Mashburn; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and two very special friends Spencer and Jacob Smith.
A memorial service for Donal is at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1 at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery with American Legion Post No. 308 of Tulsa conducting military honors.
