Burial will be in Haven of Memories, Canton, Texas.
She passed away July 23, 2011 in Canton, TX.
Mrs. Flowers was born March 27, 1922 in High Community, TX, to Luther Calvin and Gladys Box Hargrove.
She was a member of the Tundra Baptist Church for over 50 years. Lifelong resident of Van Zandt Co. She graduated from Canton High School. Charlie was employed by Piggly Wiggly in Canton for over 25 years. She had been a resident of Heritage Manor for the past 7 years.
Charlie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, A. J. Flowers, 3 Brothers, L. C, Glenn & Infant Brother, 2 Sisters, Connie & Jo.
Surviving are Daughters, Sue & Sonny Huddle of Canton, TX, & Linda & Paul Weatherford of Canton, TX, 5 Grandchildren: Kerry, Todd & Scott Huddle, Jill Saunders & Alice Lowry, 14 Great-Grandchildren, Brother, Roy Hargrove of Arlington, TX, Sister, Dell Rymers of Jasper, GA, Host of Nieces & Nephews.
Pallbearers are Mike Hargrove, Dennis Rowan, John Merchant, Glenn Hargrove, Tony Etheridge, Donny Davis & Gary Hunter.
