I have researched this family since 1978 and all of the children of William and Rachel were born in either Washington or Morgan Co., OH. William was living in Washington Co., OH when he married Rachel in 1830 and was living in Washington Co., OH in 1840 and 1850. Also I have never seen proof that he had a middle name of James nor even a middle initial associated with him. Where people got that, I have never been able to track down. It looks like people are just copying what they find online.
