Grace was the daughter of Jefferson Hezekhia Foxworthy. Jefferson married 23 year old Alice Iiams when he was 57. Grace was born two years later. He died when Grace was 8 years old. Emma Czarina Foxoworthy and her sister took Alice to court because they didn't want her to be executrix of his estate and it is believed they lost. Then Alice married Ferdinand Truell, who was also much older. After she married him, Alice took Emma and her sister BACK to court, saying they still owed her $1,200 from Jefferson's estate.

Perhaps Grace just considered Truell her father and never mentioned Jefferson to her kids. It is not certain if there are any descendants from Grace; however, her true lineage needed to be revealed.
