Rosary for Leroy Moczygemba, 68, of Wilson will be 7 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2011 in Englunds Chapel.

Celebration of life service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011 in Slaton's St. Joseph Catholic Church. Internment will follow in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Leroy was born June 2, 1944 in Slaton. He attended school in Tahoka and Wilson.

On February 21, 1963, Leroy married Judy Ann Smith in Slaton. They previously lived in Brownwood before returning to Wilson in 1995. He was a cotton farmer until 1985. Leroy owned Mac's Package Store and was assistant manager of Thriftway Grocery in Brownwood.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Rose Moczygemba; son, Curtis Moczygemba; and sister, Margie Piwonka.

His survivors include his wife, Judy; son, Ricky and wife, Jullie Moczygemba of Wilson; siblings, Francis Hamilton of Breckenridge, Jerry Moczygemba of Wilson and Randy Moczygemba of New Braunfels; grandson, Justin Moczygemba; step-grandson, Chris Miller and step-granddaughter, Mari Scott; along with five step-great-grandchildren.
