[either her gravestone is not correct or census and marr date is not, I via for gravestone just my opinion as it does happen]

Daisy and John had 8 children, lst born 1901, last born 1921
that means they were having kids or she was giving birth for 20 yrs!
and no wonder she did not outlive John! what a gal!! also No wonder she was buried with him and not his 2nd wife Grace although Grace and John did have 1 daughter together but were really not mrd that long before they were div, 1925-1942. Why?.. no idea wish I did. Like to been a fly on the wall then! Daisy died 1924, John married Grace 1925.
By probably 1942 when John registered for the WW2 draft Grace and John were div as he did not list her as nearest relative on his card, he listed Jewel Coxey and if he had been mrd then would listed the wife.
So Grace returned to Missouri from Arkansas with her daughter Grace Evie Bailey who went to KS for awhile then mrd a McCarty and she died
Missouri April 1987.
She assumed her married name of Smothers from Henry Smothers her lst husband and she died 1950 with the Smothers name in the Smothers cemetery with her family. Grace had 7 kids with Henry and those 7 kids gave her well over 20+ grand kids.
John outlived them all to 1971 but did not remarry after Grace as far as can be determined. He was a whooping 93yo when he died! Imagine!
