Geneva was born on August 18th, 1929 in Wayne County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Frank Casada and Zella Opal Jones Casada. She was a homemaker and member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Wayne County, Kentucky. She loved to cook and always had a compliment for everyone. She was a loving caretaker, mother, and grandmother.
Geneva was survived by three sons, Donnie (and Shirley Sue) Flynn of Burnside, Kentucky, Curtis Allen "Curt" (and Lori Lee) Flynn of Ratcliff, Kentucky, and Calvin David (and Paige) Flynn of Bronston, Kentucky; one daughter, Brenda Jean Roberts of Bronston, Kentucky; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one brother, David (and Barb) Casada of Somerset, Kentucky; and two sisters, Imogene Flynn and Karen Branscum, both of Somerset, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death hy her parents, Frank and Zella Opal Casada; her husband, James William Flynn, whom she married on August 17th, 1946 in Wayne County, Kentucky and who departed this life on June 19th, 1993; three sons, Gary William Flynn, Douglas Wayne Flynn, and James Anthony Flynn; one granddaughter, Tiffany Faith Flynn; one brother, Carl Casada; one sister, Janice Sue Casada; and a very special son-in-law, Johnny Roberts.
Visitations were held on Sunday, September 18th, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home and again after 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 19th at the Liberty Baptist Church in the Kidder community in Wayne County, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 19th, 2011 at the Liberty Baptist Church with Bro. UIanda Price officiating.
Her grandchildren served as her pallbearers.
Burial followed in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Kidder, Kentucky.
