DOSSETT, MRS. MADGE BUSH - age 90 of New Tazewell, Tenn. was born October 20, 1909 and passed away May 24, 2000 at 1:46 p.m. at her home after an extended illness. She was a member of First Baptist Church of New Tazewell and attended many churches throughout her life in the community. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Lodge #232. She was an active participant in the establishment of the Senior Citizens Program of Claiborne County and served as president of the organization for several years. She was preceded in death by two children, Luther Franklin Sutton and Mary Lee Hurst. She is survived by her children and grandchildren: Mrs. Lloyd (Christine) Carpenter of Tazwell, Eula Bundren of Tazewell, Tenn., Letton Bush of New Tazewell, Tenn., Hollis R. Bush of New Tazewell, Tenn., Dr. Gary E. Bush of Kingsport, Tenn., Mrs. Tom (Rebecca) Zimney of Great Falls, Mont., Mrs. Lynn (Priscilla) Bush of New Tazewell, Tenn., Luther Allen Hurst of Tazewell, Tenn., Mrs. Craig (Angela) Neely of New Tazewell, Tenn., Eugene Bundren of Tazewell, Tenn.; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Lloyd (Ada) Ramsey of New Tazewell, Tenn.; special friends Mrs. Margie Del Greer, who took her to church many times during her last years; Mr. & Mrs. Howard Cox who loved and watched over her; and Mrs. Jessie Leabow who loved and gave her daily care. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday May 26, 2000 with Eastern Star services at 7:30 p.m. and funeral service at 8 p.m. in the ClaiborneFuneral Home Chapel with the Dr. Jim Castlen, and Rev. Larry Beeler officiating. Music by Barbara Hatfield. Interment 10 a.m. Saturday May 27, 2000 in the Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers: Nephews, Lee L. Fannon, Don R. Fannon, Dr. Billy R. Fannon, Dr. Bob Fannon, Johnny Ramsey, Dr. Joseph Ramsey, Franklin Ramsey. Claiborne Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
