He was born November 29, 1945 to Conrad Montenegro and Augustina Semberoz Carrillo in Santa Barbara, CA.
He was raised in Carpinteria, CA. and served 6 years in the California National Guard Reserves. He married Leslie Statham in 1970 and moved to Tooele, UT in 1977.
He worked at MagCorp for 29 years.
His quiet kindness, thoughtfulness and sense of humor will be missed. Dad enjoyed being close to home and family, but most of all being with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie and his three children: Robert "Bobby", Jason (Kathryn), Staci (Paul) Vigil and the ones he held closest to his heart; his 6, soon to be 7 grandchildren: Bobby, Riley, Gage, Addison, Chase, Conrad and Ebony, who will be here soon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings.
A viewing will be held at Tate Mortuary 110 S Main Street, Tooele; Friday, July 29 from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. followed by a graveside service at 11:00AM at the Tooele Cemetery.
