Leonard H. Lickteig, 38-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Lickteig died Sunday from injuries received in an automobile accident. He had visited in Flandreau Saturday evening and started for home late that night, and it is believed that he became confused in directions. His car crashed into a bank after hurtling a ditch on a dead end road.
He was taken to the Flandreau hospital where it was found he had crushed chest and ribs penetrating his flunks. The act they happened about 10 miles north of Flandreau.
Besides his parents who live near Egan, he is survived by four brothers and five sisters.
