Sometime during the mid 1890's Mary Carolyn "Carrie" Fields and her parents, Charles and Phebe, decided to move to Columbia, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma.
Carrie married Nelson "Nelt" L. Huling in 1897 in Oklahoma. Nelt's father, James, was from New York and his mother Mary was from Maine. Nelt was born in Illinois (Nov 1861). He was 35 and Carrie 19 when they were married. Nelt and Carrie would eventually settle in Columbia, Oklahoma near both of their parents (1900 census).
About this same time, brother Thomas B. Fields married a lady named Lena.

Carrie married Nelson "Nelt" L. Huling in 1897 in Oklahoma. Nelt's father, James, was from New York and his mother Mary was from Maine. Nelt was born in Illinois (Nov 1861). He was 35 and Carrie 19 when they were married. Nelt and Carrie would eventually settle in Columbia, Oklahoma near both of their parents (1900 census).
About this same time, brother Thomas B. Fields married a lady named Lena.
