Mrs. Mary Lizzie Gomer Mangrum, 64, died December 24 at William County Hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services were held December 26 at Franklin Memorial Chapel with Elder Roy Demonbreun and Elder H.A. Robinson officiating. Burial was in Fernvale Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Enoch Mangrum of Fairview; three daughters, Mrs. Howard King, Mrs. James Hay, and Mrs. John R. Beasley, all of Fairview; two sons, Wiley P. Mangrum of Fairview, and Enoch Clifford Mangrum of Nashville; four sisters, Mrs. Lavenia Dodson of Decherd, Tenn., Mrs. Myrtle Hughes of Fairview, Mrs. Novel King of Franklin, and Mrs. Martin W. Loyd of Columbia; one brother, Lewis Alexander of San Antonio, Tex., and six grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were nephews, Frank, Delmer, Cleo, Ephrian, Evan, Clifton, and Major Mangrum, Percy and Leslie Hughes, and Bill Gomer.
Franklin Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.


Daughter of James Gray and Augusta Narcissa Buttrey Gomer. She married Enoch Mangrum on 10 August 1913 in Williamson County, TN. Five children came of this union.
