George R. Safford, a Kennewick native, died April 27th at age 83.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mickey in 1999.
He retired from the city of Kennewick in 1981. They made many friends over the years square dancing and bowling.
He is survived by son, Gary; grandsons Scott and Grant; Grant's wife, Dori; great-grandson Brice; and his sister Ruby Woodruff.
A graveside serivce will be at Riverside Heights, Thursday, May 1, 10:00 a.m.
