Louis A. Hamann, 79, of 119 Berry St., Green Valley, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011, at his home.
Born August 17, 1931 in Green Valley to Albert and Anna (Ripper) Hamann, he married Darlene Hamilton on February 19, 1955 in Green Valley. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Carol Schrieber Al-Bataineh and Susan (Bob) Hindman; and one son, Michael Hamann.
Louis was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
A United States Air Force veteran, Louis served in Korea.
He worked for Caterpillar, Inc. thirty years before retiring in 1983. After retiring, he then farmed the Hamann family farm.
Graveside services will be at Green Valley Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded.
