Daughter of the late William Martin Pack (1873-1932) and Barbara Alice (Shreve) Pack (1879-1953); was next to the last youngest child in a family of 13 children and the last member of her immediate family; and the widow of Harrison Wesley Elliott (1912-1984).
A native of Pike County, Kentucky, she had lived in South Carolina for 60 years, the last 45 in Inman, before moving to Windsor House West in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and later to RoseCrest Retirement Community in Inman.
A homemaker, retired from Spartanburg School District I where she worked as a dietitian for several years, and was an active member of the Inman United Methodist Church where she participated in many organizations.
Survivors include a son, Michael Elliott (Iris); daughters, Carolyn Barnette (Bill), Barbara Elizabeth Elliott Bishop (1938–2014), and Judith Bell (Michael); six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Also predeceased by seven sisters, Bessie Elizabeth Pack Hinkle Martin(1896-1981), Hazel Olivia Pack Curnutt (1899–1986), Leola Pack (1901-1963), Gladys Daisy Pack Williams (1903-1994), Billie Jewell Pack (1906-), Beulah C. Pack Bannister (1910–1990), Ruth Alice Pack Francis (1917-1999); five brothers, Claude Kermit Pack (1908–1987), Clyde Kendall Pack (1908-1976), PFC Glenn Pack (1914-2004), and Donald Herman Pack (1922-2002); numerous nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, September 11, 2006, at Inman United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. C. Andrew Shull and Rev. Ronald Leonard.
A private burial service was held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, immediately following the church service.
Memorials could be made to the Inman United Methodist Church Guild Scholarship Fund or to the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
