BATON ROUGE - Teri Jane Meiners Hopkins, 41, died Wednesday, April 30, 2003, of
brain cancer.
She was an artist and computer programmer for Dillard's Department Stores and a member
of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Baton Rouge. She was a graduate of Louisiana State
University.
She is survived by her husband, David Walter Hopkins; her son, Justin David Hopkins; her
mother and stepfather, Linda Brayden Haschak and Paul Haschak of Hammond; her father and
stepmother, Mike and Paula Meiners of Mandeville; her sister, Lorraine Meiners-Lovel of
Memphis, Tenn.; and her grandmother, Irma Thomas Meiners of Mandeville.
Visitation will be Sunday at Welsh Funeral Home, Baton Rouge, from 6 to 9 p.m. with
recitation of the rosary at 7:30 and Monday from 9 a.m. until Mass at 10 at Our Lady of Mercy
Catholic Church. A graveside service will be at 12:30 p.m. at Mandeville Cemetery.
Donation may be made in her name to Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge. SRK
