Nannie was the daughter of John B Vaught and Rachel Catherine Wagner.

We are very sad to hear of the death of Mrs. W. S. Farthing who died at her home on Beaver Dam Friday night and was buried on Sunday. Mrs. Farthing was a Miss Vaught of Johnson county, Tennessee. She was a most excellent lady, leaves several children and a devoted husband and many friends to mourn her. We greatly sympathize with the husband and little ones in their great bereavement. We know how terribly sad it is. Mrs. Farthing died with pneumonia fever.
