Funeral services for James Wiley Mayo, 75, who died at his home in Carters Valley early Wednesday morning will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. (CWT) at Carters Valley School with the Rev. John Wilton officiating.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Hugh and Champ of the U. S. Army; three daughters, Mrs. Joe Simmons and Misses Dana Mayo of Surgoinsville, and Lou Mayo of Huntersville, N. C.; one brother, George Mayo of Kingsport; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Armstrong and Mrs. Lina Bailey of Surgoinsville.
