Mrs. Mabel Matilda Kleppinger, 80, mother of Mrs. Howard H. Schlegel, 932 South Seventeenth avenue, passed away at a hospital at East Moline, Ill., early today after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Walker mortuary, West Main street, at 1:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rev. N. A. Wiens, pastor of First Baptist church, of which she was a member, will conduct the services and interment will be made at Oakland.
The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Singer she was born at Warren Jan. 10, 1887. Her husband, Earl, and a son, Kenneth,preceded her in death. Surviving is the one daughter, Mrs. Howard H. (Lois) Schlegel. A sister and two brothers also survive, Mrs. Ida Carver, St. Louis, Mo.; Wesley Singer, New Hartford, Ia.; Percy Singer, Freeport.
