OBITUARY - Tyrone Herald, December 7, 1905
Hannah J., wife of Washington Kough, died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Alfred and Florence Cherry, at Tipton Gap Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock of diseases incident to old age. She was born in Waterloo, Juniata county, and was aged at death 72 years. She is survived by seven sons and two daughters. The funeral cortege left the home of her daughter Monday and proceeded to the Tipton Methodist Episcopal church, where service was conducted by Rev. William Moses. Interment was made at Charlotteville cemetery.
