Melvin Cochran
Melvin Cochran, 85, of 2931 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Township, died Wednesday in Mercer Medical Center.
A lifelong Trenton resident, he was a retired employe of American Standard of Hamilton Township.
Mr Cochran was a magician and a former member of the Winkler Band, which performed in the area in the 1940's. He was also an army veteran of World War I.
Husband of the late Catherine Cochran, he is survived by one daughter, Janice Lawrence of Hamilton Township, one son. Melvin E. Cochran; two sisters, Mrs Gertrude Walter and Mrs. Emma Bodine, both of Ewing Township; two brothers, Howard of Hamilton Township and Harold of Trenton; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday evening from 7 till 9 p.m.
