Charles E. Hale, 75, of 5051 Kellchris Lane, St. Cloud, died Aug. 5. Born in Baltimore, Md., he moved to the area from Dundalk, Md., in 1983.

He was a retired railroad engineer and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, St. Cloud.

Survivors include his wife, son, daughter, brothers, sister, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Aug. 8 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, St. Cloud, with Father Fabian Gimeno officiating. Burial was in Florida National Cemetery with military honors courtesy of the Marine Corps League, Bushnell. Conrad and Thompson Funeral Home, Kissimmee, was in charge of local arrangements.
