Died At his home in this city Dec. 20 , 1896 of cancer, Charles P. Hunt age 60 years. The deceased was an old resident of this city and a worthy member of I. N. Nichols Post G.A.R. under whose auspices, with the assistance of Rev. W. M.Balch, the funeral was conducted yesterday afternoon. He leaves a wife, two sons and one daughter, Leslie, Charles and Mrs. George Bell. River Falls Journal 12-24-1896
